BASIC Features
LIVE OBSERVATION
Netavis Observer has extensive live viewing capabilities, including support for an unlimited number of camera channels, static and dynamic view configurations, automatic guard tours, bidirectional audio communication, digital zoom, and PTZ control.
ARCHIVE MANAGEMENT
Netavis Observer supports permanent, event-based and time-based recordings, and allows for multiple, definable schedules per camera. The archive also offers extensive export options and subsequent motion detection in MJPEG recordings. In order to prevent data loss in the event of a hardware failure, it is possible to store recordings segmented.
EVENT MANAGEMENT
Netavis Observer offers a flexible event and alarm management system. All events and alerts are stored in a powerful database for documentation and later use. Alarm notifications can be forwarded via email, SNAP XML, SNAP URL integrations, or I / O contacts. In addition, the event management system is adaptable to add even more flexibly to meet customer requirements.
RULE ADMINISTRATION
Netavis Observer supports the configuration of a series of actions automatically triggered by specific events. For example, the camera recording may be initiated by activating an alarm system or a barrier may be opened by the recognition of authorized license plates.
PRIVACY & SECURITY

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
MOBILE CLIENT
The Mobile Client offers freely definable multi-camera live streams and access to archive footage on mobile devices of all types. Integrated trans-coding ensures that H.264, MPEG-4 and MxPEG live and archive recordings are also available on all browsers and platforms.
ABS BANDWIDTH MANAGEMENT
Netavis Observer is ideal for low-bandwidth environments with the ABS Bandwidth Management Module. ABS reduces and manages bandwidth for video streams from the server to the clients to the desired level, regardless of camera, streaming format and resolution. The defined bandwidth is distributed dynamically to the streams to be transmitted in order to ensure the best possible picture quality at all times.
LAYOUT NAVIGATION
Layout Navigation simplifies the management of camera systems and enables camera control via drag and drop icons. The navigation is based on a graphical representation of the physical conditions such as building plans, maps or other image files. Thanks to its integration with the Observer Client, Layout Navigation is the ideal solution for clear, fast and intuitive control of complex projects.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY INTEGRATION
Netavis Observer supports Active Directory (AD) / LDAP server. This allows users of a video system to be managed on the basis of (already existing) AD / LDAP infrastructure.
ARCHIVE ENCRYPTION
While the ability to encrypt camera servers and server-client connections is included free of charge in Netavis Observer, the optional Netavis Archive Encryption module allows to encrypt the entire archive. This means that the records are not accessible without the appropriate decryption key, even if e.g. the hard drive was stolen.
VIDEO WALL CONTROL
Video Wall Control enables the efficient control of video walls with up to 10×10 monitors from standard IT components such as Netavis servers and client PCs. Rather than just controlling your own monitor, Video Wall Control makes it possible to inherit the flexible view control and view-port control of every connected client machine in the Observer system.
3D SENSOR INTEGRATION
The integration of 3D sensors into Netavis Observer enables solutions for complex security and business applications that cannot be realized with regular 2D video analytics technology. 3D sensors can also detect differences in size to differentiate between children and adults. The associated 3D sensor events can be exported and processed similar to other events.
1. What is XLight Technology?
The XLight technology is an innovative technology that delivers vivid color, appropriate brightness and extremely good and clear images in extreme-low light conditions. XLight technology vastly improves the image brightness with a large Iris design & BSI back illuminated sensor.
2 What is 265+ Vcom Technology?
Under the same configuration, 265+ Vcom only costs one hard disk to store the same video record which needs four hard disks under H.264, saving 75% storage cost. Customers would benefit from both storage cost and deployment cost from Vcom. Besides the advancements above, Vcom also breaks the bottleneck of HD resolution.
3 What is Vpix Technology?
The innovative Vpix sensor is more effective to detect illumination of captured information with its high-precision pixel units before image signal processing. VNS applies unique Vpix design to achieve accurate and sensitive detection of real surveillance scene illumination.
